Anti-Hazing Proclamation

Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Latinas Poderosas Unidas, Inc. considers hazing to be a most destructive and degrading activity which is inconsistent with the standards of our organization. We recognize the dignity of every individual and oppose all forms of hazing.

As members of Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Latinas Poderosas Unidas, Inc., we must adhere to the following:

-We will not promote nor endorse any hazing action(s).

-We will comply with state laws, which have “zero” tolerance for hazing activities. Violations of this procedure by members of the organization will be viewed as violations of our Code of Conduct. Hence, organizational actions will be taken in accordance with applicable city and state regulations.

-It is the responsibility of all members, including but not limited to the national board executives, chapters executives, general membership, etc., to ensure strict compliance with this policy, to refer cases of infraction, and assist those responsible for implementing regulations and laws in enforcement.
