ACQUAINT AND GET INVOLVED: Become acquainted and informed about the Hermandad. Attend LPiU sponsored events as well as fellow Greek and non-Greek sponsored events. Get involved in community services and fundraisers. We are an organization that prides ourselves on hosting a wide range of unique and meaningful events. Getting to know the organization on a professional and social level allows you to become better acquainted with our organizational principles and objectives.

BECOME A D.I.A.T.: Never be afraid to approach an Hermana with a question! We are here to help you understand more about LPiU and what we represent. Take the initiative to communicate your thoughts and concerns about anything and discuss it with us as members. Inquire and complete requirements either on your respective campus or through our Development Division. Become a D.I.A.T. – an official interest of Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Latinas Poderosas Unidas, Inc. This will give you a deeper understanding of what the organization expects and how we fulfill your expectations!

ORIENTATE: The orientation process demonstrates the bond that our Six Pillars of Strength established for the organization on November 6, 1992. Through a variety of different academic, cultural and communal techniques, a woman is empowered to gain knowledge, exhibit strength of mind and above all share the solidarity of the organization. This step is essential to BECOMING A DIVA!

CONTRIBUTE: Becoming an active member in the organization involves working with your fellow Hermanas to expose our founding principles: education, family, advancement, learning and motivation, both internally (through a variety of hermana events) and externally (through fellow Greeks and non-Greek affiliated events).

NETWORK: A large part of being a DIVA is getting to know your organization and other organizations that are making a positive impact on the community. Whether fraternity, sorority, or non-Greek affiliated, familiarizing yourself and socializing are crucial factors that supplement your experience within the organization once you BECOME A DIVA!!!
