Founded in 1995 at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The Gorgeous Divas had very little time to become acquainted with the RIT campus, yet managed to make themselves known within the Rochester region at various neighboring schools. The ideals of the organization are very much alive within this chapter.

After numerous years of exceptional work and complete devotion to Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Latinas Poderosas Unidas, Inc., on April 10, 2010 eight Divas made it through the jungle of darkness to find the Outrageous Omicron Colony at the State University of New York College at New Paltz. This entity's philantrhopy is Juvenile Diabetes, chosen because each individual Founder of this entity is directly affected by the disease. We plan to educate SUNY New Paltz about this disease, as it is not widely discussed on our campus. As Outrageous Divas, we intend to maintain perfection. As Lambda Divas we intend to expose the trials and tribulations of women and children.
